Don't let them push you around. Some Yorkies are that big. They are not to standard Yorkies, but they are still Yorkies. I bet they listed him as a Silky? They just think they know everything when they don't. I am sure you have a Yorkie and I am sorry they did this to you.

The petsmart here tried to tell me Teek was a Silky because he didn't have enough hair on his ears to be a Yorkie. They do not know what they are talking about and you need to tell them, no, this is a Yorkie.

I for example, have a purebred (with papers) English Setter. Breed standard says males are 27 inches at the shoulder and either 60 or 65 lbs (trying to go from memory on the standard).
