 In memory of my little Abby
My heart is aching so much.... Yesterday I took my 2lb yorkie Abby in for a routine spay, her sister who is also around 2lbs was spayed two weeks ago and came through just fine. Unfortunately my baby Abby did not. My vet who has several of his own yorkies called and said Abby's heart rate dropped when he gave her a sedative prior to the anesthesia, he was unable to stabilize her. I am so heartbroken. I truly regret now having made the decision to spay her.... I read the pros and cons on spaying and felt that if I didn't I was not being a responsible pet owner.
My hubby and I picked her up along with her brother Stitch and Eddy. I will truly miss my little shadow Abby. |
