Using a bellyband won't help train him - but it will keep him from peeing on your carpets, floors, etc. (This is worth a lot.)
Believe me - I have the same problems...... and my Yorkie wears a bellyband a lot of the time - especially when I let him free roam all over the house. When he's loose, he is bad, bad, bad! When he is confined in the kitchen - he has his puppy pad, which he uses then.
