 Advice PLEASE!
We currently have a 4 year old yorkie who has been an only child her entire life. She has never been aggressive towards other dogs, usually just ignores them. However she doesn't know how to "play" either. When other dogs try she runs away and has even tried to nip at them.
Today we adopted a cocker spaniel puppy. He is already her size and loves to play. What can we do to help Izzy adjust to a new brother and bond with him. I don't want her to be afraid of him and I definitely want them to play and be doggy siblings. Please give all the advice you have to help us make this adjustment easier for Izzy and us. |
