I think I would give her a new name. Because she will have her own personality. I don't ever reuse a dog name.

Will any friends/family be confused if you have another Yorkie with the same name as a previous one?

It is entirely your choice, but even vet records (if you use the same vet) could get confused with a dog with the same name as a previous one. Just a thought.

You will need to name her what you feel is the best name for her though.
