 In honor or inappropriate?
I'm getting a new little girl on the fifteenth. I've gone to see her every week since she was 3 weeks old. The breeder says she has a tradition of putting a collar with the name we choose on it on them for when we first pick them up. So I've been trying to decide on a name. I am torn between Madalyn ( or Maddy for short) or naming her Marley after my baby girl that I lost a year ago. I know she will be her own little personality and I don't expect for her to act or turn out anything like Marley was, so don't think I'm trying to bring her back by calling her that. I just guess I think of it more like an in her honor kind of thing if I did. Do you think that that would be ok or inappropriate to name her Marley? Or should I just go with Madalyn ? I'm a libra and sometimes we need help making decisions once we've pondered on a choice for too long without conclusion. |
