He now gets a spoonful of yogurt twice a day and has not had any trouble for over 1 1/2 years. I put them in the crates under their bedding so that if the go in the crate it is easier to clean up and I just throw everything into the washer and put it on the disinfect cycle. I don't know if the bed pads I have would work for this. I could pull out the 2 smaller ones I have and try them I guess. I will leave the big dogs in his crate though as that is part of his bedding.

Is there a difference between washable bed pads (made for people) and washable pee pads?
I really am not sure but I would think the human ones would absorb more since there for humans. It couldn't hurt to try if you already have some.
