I could not board my dog like that as well. 2 weeks in a kennel is way too long for these dogs that are so attached to us.
If he does great overnight then he may do okay with her for 2 weeks, but if you can take him with you then that is good too. It would be nice to have her as someone who can watch him if you do need to leave down for a weekend or a few days though.
We had a fox terrier growing up that did great staying with my grandmother when we went away for up to 10 days at a time. She fed him whatever she fixed for him to eat (people food) and we had to put him on a diet when we got home, but he loved to visit her and never fussed about us being gone. Fox Terriers though are not quite the same as Yorkshire Terriers though, believe me. LOL
