I would leave him over night with her and see how he does. My oldest Yorkie, Teek will not eat if I am not home. I can just be gone all day and he is home with my family and he will not eat until I return home. For that reason I take him wherever I go on vacation because even with my husband and kids he will not eat without me being there.

I would give it a 1 night try and see how he does with her. 2 weeks is a long time for him to be away, but better to be with someone he loves than stuck in a kennel where he isn't played with and loved on.
