I have 3 yorkies..one of them being a teapot at 12.5lbs. I've tried running (more like walking) a mile with her and she can't handle it..so I have to carry her. I think 4 miles is way too much for a little pup! And maybe you should think about free feeding her...my first yorkie had a hypoglycemic episode when he was a puppy, too. I free feed him now.
