The father and grandfather (they look identical) to my puppies are black saddled with a tan face. The dad is still young, but the grandfather is much older, I think 5 or 6. He still is black on his back. I think some are just colored that way. I am hoping my little boy puppy, Rowan will end up looking like his dad and grandfather. I think the girl puppy Raksha is going to look like her grandmother and be tan and silver, just like my older Yorkie looks as well. I had Teek at the house of the person who owns the grandma and we could barely tell which dog was whose. Same size, color and hair cut. It was funny! I do think that Raksha will end up looking like them.
