I know nothing about teeth but I will try.
So one of her lower canines only grew in half way, and then another tooth grew in front of that half grown in canine. The "mutant tooth" is the one in front of the canine and the gums look like they are receding around it. They pulled some teeth when she was spayed as a puppy, but this happened after her adult teeth grew in.
I really would love for it to fall out on its own, but it isn't used for anything and she won't chew on that side right now. She is still acting normal but not okay with me near her mouth. I hope it is her only problem tooth, but I am thinking based on drool and not always wanting to eat with no known cause, a dental will need to happen regardless. |
