Or there is just a difference in dogs -- I know mine is a "big whimp." If you ever even slightly slightly hurt him - he acts like he's being killed.

Even my vet noticed this. Even with routine handling - picking up - moving, etc., my dog was carrying on like someone was really hurting him. The vet laughed and said, let's hope your little guy never really gets hurt or gets sick. He'd be something else again!

I have noticed though that as he is getting older, he is becoming somewhat less a baby......thank God!
