 Introducing Myself
Hello,
My name is Anne and on July 11th I will be bringing home my very first Yorkie. Her name is Olivia. I met her last week and fell in love. I will be visiting her tomorrow and bringing with me a little pillow I am putting together. Her breeder will let her have it with her litter mates so their scent will get on the pillow. I thought it would help to bring something home with her with that scent. I want to make things as comfortable as I can for her. I have been busy getting things that she will need. New crate, dishes, chew toys, regular toys, bedding, and I am making a crate cover for her crate too. The only thing I am having trouble with is the food. The breeder is feeding her a mix of Royal Canin Puppy and Nutri Source and giving her some Royal Canin canned puppy food in the morning. I looked at the ingredients and wasn't really impressed. I feed my other dogs (Golden Retriever and a dachshund/poodle) 4-Health dog food which according to the "Dog Food Adviser" website is a 4 star dog food. Royal Canin is a 2.5 star puppy food. I am thinking about changing my puppy to Taste of the Wild Puppy but they don't have a canned puppy food.any help would be wonderful with this subject. Nice meeting you all. Thank You Anne |
