Have you tried using a dremel by yourself yet? Might be worth a try bc they are really quite cheap, and are less severe than a cut - so you could do it more often. Think I got mine on Amazon.
Aw, RIP Sophie...I'm so sorry she is no longer with you. My Wylie has Cushings too..he is now 11. How old was your Sophie when she passed?
