I've tried for a long time to trim Joni's nails. She fights it so much and I'm afraid I'm hurting her. That plus I don't feel I get them short enough at all. So I'm taking her to our vet today for a nail trim. They asked if I wanted clipped or dremeled. I requested dremeled although it may be even more disturbing to her.

When we have professional grooms, I use a mobile groomer that I trust. But due to cost, I limit that to just once every 3 months so the nail trims are necessary in between those visits. And because I think I've been so cautionary with that groomer she doesn't trim the nails all that closely.

These babies are so tiny, I just don't trust anyone not to hurt her (5 lbs)!! But I can't get it done myself. I'm kind of in a panic.

Thoughts?
