If she has a severe heart murmer she might be coughing due to that. Dogs can cough from Kennel Cough, Heart Problems or Collapse Trachea. Even acid reflux makes dogs cough. I have a 1 year old and he has made a hacking noise since I got him. Not a full cough just like a fast hack and vets can not tell me why he does it. I would just try different foods on her to find one she likes. Just keep an eye on the cough. Maybe the raw hide irritated her throat. Has she coughed ever before? |
