Unhappy Shaking Spasms

Our new Yorkie 'Holly' weighing in at just over 4 lbs at 14 months, has spasmodic shaking quivers as if she's cold. I suspect either Hyperglycemia, or Hypoglycemia. The reason for this prognosis focuses on food input. Within 15 minutes the spasms are less intense and within 30 they've gone. I am very aware that due to her small body mass, she may need feeding at say 9am, 2pm, 7pm and a little supper like a few chunks of boiled chicken before bedtime? Her eyes are bright, nose damp and general demeanor bright and waggy tailed, although her motion was a little loose today. My wife has been taking both of them on 4 mile hikes recently and whilst our other Yorkie enjoys such exertions, at nearly 9 lbs she has the reserves to cope. Maybe Holly is struggling to keep up, physically, whilst outwardly enjoying the experience?
