Hmmmm...sounds a bit more like KC to me, than anything else...?
Was this pup given the kennel cough vaccine? If yes, that's probably how he got it in the first place. If that's the case, I wouldn't be getting it again. I never get the KC vaccine for mine, as it's not a core vaccine (not needed).
In pups, KC can take months to get rid of, unforch. The main thing you want to prevent is it progressing to pneumonia which can happen. If you do think this is KC...just hang in there as it will eventually resolve.
