You "don't think it's okay" for how these animals are treated...yet it's perfectly okay to do nothing about it bc you eat meat. That's not even logical in any way, shape, or form. Doing *nothing* about things that are wrong in the world and making excuses to live that way is why change happens so slowly. You're part of the problem instead of the solution.
We're not criticizing culture here, who the heck cares which culture is doing this? We're speaking out against TORTURE AND CRUELTY to living beings, for petes sake. And MANY of us here also speak out against what we do in our culture too, btw. Maybe you missed the Animal Welfare section here? |
The reason why I have done nothing is because I haven't come up with a solution. Just by me screaming it's cruel and not right will fix nothing. This world is ran on capitalist and all these butcher companies care about is making money. Have you come up with a solution to resolve this at the same time making the process cost efficient?
