I think it's hypocritical to say one loves dogs, but doesn't care about animal torture bc it's "cultural". Something being cultural does NOT make it okay. If so, I guess stoning women to death in other countries is not something we should blink an eye at either.

I don't think it's okay with how any of these animals are treated. However, I eat meat so yes, it'd be hypocritical for me to speak out and try to put a stop to what they choose to eat. If you care that much, you should come up with a humane way that's also profitable for these butcher houses. That's the only way that you'll see change.
