I am a newb to the yorkie world but from a general health pov..no the dry nose is not an indicator..moist mucus membranes in the mouth, lighter color urine, and quick return skin folds when gently pinched, along with behavior, appetite, activity...by your description..puppy sounds healthy, but its never a bad thing to check with a vet
