How can I make him drink? I have been squirting water in his mouth with a dropper, but he won't take more than 5 droppers, which is just 5 ml in total, almost nothing.

What else can I try?

He does pee about 5 times a day, small quarter size puddles (on my carpet). He stays outside for an hour and then comes in to pee on the carpet. Anyways, I am doing the potty training, but worried about the amount of water he drinks.
I would inform the vet. You should always have water available at all times during the day. When my Bella had luxating patella surgery and wouldn't drink during her recovery, I made home made chicken broth with NO salt added, and NO onions, being sure to refrigerate it and remove all solid fat. (Boil one whole cut up chicken in 4 quarts of water for one hour, and strain. You can freeze the broth that you are not using, and use the boiled chicken for chicken salad.) That perked up her drinking habits until she wanted to drink water on her own. But definitely let the vet know--he may want a urine sample to see if there is something wrong.
