 Anal Gland Carcinoma - maybe
Hi everyone -
So I just got back from a follow up visit at the Vet with Hugo and I'll know tomorrow or Friday if he has anal carcinoma. I first noticed a hard marble-like in size bump by his anal area when giving him a bath. Took him in immediately and they thought it could be his anal glands, gave me some meds and today was the follow up.
It's still there, maybe a little smaller. They squeezed it and under the microscope it didn't look like it should. So it's getting tested and will know by Friday. Anyone experience this before?
He's 11 years old, neutered, doesn't scoot or chase his tail, etc.
I've been a wreck since leaving the vet.
