Very interesting advice about the booster seat ! I have to try it myself, but currently we do not have any dog not used to a car ride... But I will pass it along for sure.
To the OP, you first described something very normal, first time puppy vomiting when taken from his breeder house and the other car ride followed with vomiting.
What concerns is the vomiting after playtime. This puppy may be overeating or eating too fast. With this breed we do not want to risk hypoglycemia and withdraw food for longer periods, specially to a puppy.
Have you tried feeding controlled smaller portions more often?
It could be just that. If puppy eats too fast it feed too much and play or exercise following can trigger the vomiting . Smaller meals may be the answer.
