Best part is after much debate on wood.... they will be TEAK. Yay, can't tell you how happy this makes me I didn't even ask for quotes on teak, knowing it was more expensive, but decided to splurge. I'll be living with this kitchen for a long long time.

Appliances have been selected, and I LOVE them. Granite is selected & paid for, waiting for fabrication after cabinets go in.

Oh, and the biggest bonus of all dating the handsome contractor has turned into a committed relationship. Yep, I couldn't be happier. We both feel like teenagers again and are so happy. Wow, life is good! Really really good!

That's awesome! So excited for you and things are moving toward your new kitchen! I'm in Kansas and know of a couple custom cabinet makers who do AMAZING work! I am sure they all do. I can hear the happiness in your post. YAY!
