I use to keep my pups in full coat all year round except for Ruby my cotton coat Yorkie but now that the two older ones are 13 and almost 11 I keep them in a shorter cut. Its much easier on me, way less time to groom and so much less stressful on them when it comes time to groom.

Now Ruby is a different story I've always kept her in a modifies Schnauzer cut and I love it. I've also been doing a Joey cut on her which is mostly the same except the skirt is also shaved.
