Dealing with the same thing from Joni. She uses pee pads in the house regularly, but she also uses any other type of rug as well. So aside from blocking off rooms she not allowed in (carpeted bedrooms), I no longer leave bath mats on the floor in the bathroom. My big problem (warning: disgusting) is the nice rug under the dining room table. I keep pee pads in that room but I just 'know' if she either misses or dribbles to the side. It's a dark rug so no noticeable stain - just a squishy feel at times. Ugh, I don't want to know!!!
