My girl has shown to get hotter with longer hair during the warmer season by panting a lot randomly. I want her comfortable, so I have her cut in a shorter cut for now. For the most part, my preference is having longer ears/head, but keep the body and beard shorter, but I'll gladly go with shorter if that's what makes her more comfy. So for now, it's much shorter in the warmer seasons and left longer in the cooler seasons.
