My own personal experience on here is to stay away from certain topics. There is also at least one member that once they get on the thread, I bail. Other than that I really enjoy this forum. I honestly hope a moderator sends them a message about some of their recent posts. If anyone says anything about others being mean on a thread that person (who is being mean or rude) is the first person to whine and say "then tell a moderator about it." They obviously do not recognize themselves as being so mean and rude to us. I almost left the forum months ago because of that one person, but I stayed because for that one person I had met at least 10 that were nice. |

. As far as walking away from a thread because of any particular member, I hope you change your mind about that(leaving the thread). Even if I don't agree with ppl I enjoy different viewpoints since it can give me different perspectives. When I first joined, I let my temper(my husband calls it the Caribbean Spirit lol) get the best of me on a particular thread. Most members mean well, but just like in any group of people(especially a majority of women) tempers can flair and words can be taken the wrong way...or sometimes some ppl are just full of themselves lol. If you notice some members just make you cringe when you see their username next to a post the Ignore Feature is very handy, but also the one's you put on Ignore may impart some valuable information
