 Yorkies and the Heat
It's getting hotter! In nyc it's hovering between 80 and 90 F! This is my first small dog and I know she is not made to handle the heat. But how much is too much? I know she is very frustrated not getting to go to the park and on her long daily walks (I still take her out, but for much shorter periods- it's been 80 even at night), being a terrier in a small apartment with energy to burn. Tips and tricks? Advise? Has anyone bought a cooling jacket for their dog? |
