I was curious cause my vet told me that once they test positive, they always will. But, this does not mean that they are sick or showing symptoms, just that they have been exposed to it and the virus never leaves. This is the first time I have heard of a dog having lyme disease that tested positive and then it never showed up again. Maybe I need to talk to my vet again?
