To me what is one of the key issues is that - our immigration policy does not clearly state the expectation that the immigrant knows this is a secular society and we are a free and democratic society that can not and will not tolerate certain practices. Such as female circumsion, abortion based on gender preferences, sharia law, forced marriages, and the list goes on.


The province of Quebec has changed its immigration policy to clearly delineate what is expected of the immigrant and what they can expect


Practice your religion all you want in your churches and mosques and temples, but you must abide by the laws of our land, and when in public what is the public practice of our nation!!!!


If you can't or won't abide by this quite simply do not immigrate here!
