I go and look online for baby names and see what comes up. Or, favorite characters from books, tv, movies.

My new puppies got their names from books. Raksha is a character in a book my daughter read recently. She is a protector in the book and it is so funny because Raksha does protect her brother Rowan.

Rowan was the name of a book I read, although it was a girls name in that book, but my daughter just read a book with a boy character with that name and suggested the name. I looked it up online and it is a traditional Celtic name, which I love Celtic names.

I also have Teek, but his nickname is Tiki, because he is the light that lights my way in the dark.
