I also mix Oxyfresh Oral Hygiene Solution to her drinking water and give her treats /toys that helps clean her teeth and freshen her breath . Two nights ago I was brushing her teeth and I noticed that one of her bottom small tooth (incisors) was loose. I felt so bad that I may have caused her tooth to loosen with the way I brush it as she made a 'crying' sound when I brushed it. Next morning, I checked her tooth and was horrified to find out that most of her bottom teeth are all loose (all incisors). I quickly made an appt to her vet and he recommended to pull out all 6 of her bottom incisors. I am leaning more on not getting her teeth pulled out as it will be stressful for her to go through and just let them fall off on their own. Has anyone here been through the same situation as I have? what did you do? How did you manage to maintain the loose teeth? Any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |
Don't worry, your tooth brushing did not cause those teeth to be loosened. And I agree with everyone else--have those loose teeth extracted by the vet.
