If this was my dog, I would have the vet do the job. It's more important to protect the larger teeth than the little incisors. I had to have Winston's incisors removed too and he is only 4. I think for her health, your vet is correct, and don't worry, it's not a big deal, they recover very quickly and then her mouth will be clean and disease-free. Good luck.
