I have to admit that I anticipated seeing a slow moving, sore, kinda down little girl when I went to see her. What I saw blew me away.. When they brought her into the room, she started doing her squirmy, wiggly thing in the Dr.'s hands, then they put her on the floor and she
ran across the room to see me and start licking me. Her little tail was going crazy, she was wiggling and licking and generally acting like she was feeling pretty good. I don't know if it is just really
realllly good pain meds, if she has just lived with a certain amount of pain from her condition, or if she is just that tough and the Docs just that good. They are watching her like a hawk for seizures, but I didn't see anything that would give me any reason for hesitation. She has a soft cone on and of course she hates it, but when she did that whole body shake thing because it was irritating her, I could not believe that it didn't seem to hurt her. I know I would NOT be feeling my oats like that if they had left a comparable sized cut on me!
Resilient little animals, these terriers!
