I have had 3 Shih Tzu's and still have one. Maggie weighed 11 lbs, George 10lbs, and Harry is currently at 30lbs..in his defense he's on medication thats made him gain weight, but he was always on the larger side. Shih Tzu's are bigger in general then Yorkies. I know there are small ones, but typically they can be up to 17lbs. Yorkies are much smaller, but alas my lil girl is a teapot (official member of the club) and is 8 months old and 11.2 lbs. I dont see her growth spurt slowing down at all..in fact, since I've gotten her good and healthy she's more active then ever but just a big girl. More to love
