Great news that the plan is to keep him on the food for awhile. I'd keep him on his current food for at least a month, if not for 6 weeks given he is so very young right now.
At that point, switch over gradually. I feed mine pre-made raw by either Primal or Natures Variety. But if you want too feed kibble I recommend Natures Logic, Natures Variety, Wellness Core, Solid Gold (Wee Bits or Barking At The Moon), Acana/Orijen.
