Just hoping you didn't get another 8 week old pup. Twelve weeks is best. I'm just saying, since you found another breeder so quickly... even few months is quick. The best breeders have waiting lists up to a year or more.
And no I did not wait a year or more for mine. I got her from an ad in the paper before I knew any better. And while she is a great dog and I love her, she has LP grade 2/3 which may need surgery in the future ($1000+ each knee; 8+ week healing), off color, large ears, long muzzle, and I paid over $1200 for her. For that price, if I had waited, I could have gotten one with a Ch pedigree, or maybe even Ch sired. IF I knew the right breeders.
