Exclamation Possibly a foxtail in throat maybe???!!?

Izzy makes this sound that we can only describe as the sound you make if you're trying to hock a lugi up from nose phlegm. And she's been doing it pretty often the last two days. She usually only makes that sound when she's straining hard or running too fast, and then it goes away. But she'll be laying down perfectly still and then start making that sound and looking like she's straining for air. And it will go on for a minute or two and then start up again randomly. But the last three hours she's getting worse with it. She isn't trying to hack anything up. And she's still active. She's not acting different other than the choking sounds. I keep finding fox tails in her hair here and there, and I'm afraid she may have swallowed one. Is this one of those times I should take her to e.r or just call my vet in the a.m?
