I agree that the cost of doing an elimination diet could eventually add up to more than the cost of a Nutriscan test, especially if you have to use commercial kibble. I'm glad that you had professional help at a university to collect a good saliva sample! You don't have to tell us the name of the university, but could you tell us what the people at the university who helped you think of the test?

Slightly off the topic, but when I had a Wisdom Panel DNA breed test done on Bella, I donned a lab coat and nylon gloves to take her cheek swab. And then I did it again when I took a DNA sample to have her DNA sequenced to determine if they could identify the gene responsible for progressive hair greying in Yorkies. They couldn't identify the gene, but the scientist said I took a good DNA sample . I love science!
