I just used up that one bottle of Miracle Grow and that's it. I read that certain plants needs to be fertilized at certain times and not others. You can't do it year round. Certain plants if you fertilize at the wrong time it can retard the flower growth or fruit development. You just gotta read up on your type of plant bc I wouldn't know!

But as a general rule of thumb (what I read) over watering results in yellowing leaves, and under watering is limp leaves.

What a bummer about celosia...I thought it'd be so easy to grow! I love the trippy look to the flower - it looks other worldly somehow, like a cartoon almost bc it's so feathery or something. Frustrated. I wonder if it's just tougher to grow in really dry climates like you and me live in.
