I'm sure your dog will have some anxiety. That said, it really is okay I think. Your dogs will both be safe. They might not know they are okay, but you do.
That said, I hope you have a wonderful time with your grandson. It's a special relationship (of course, my 33 year old daughter has yet to have one!). My memories with my grandmother are some of the most special in my life.
Also, my two cents would be to leave both dogs with DH. I think then both would be at home, comfortable, and have each other. The stress of being separated from each other might be worse than separation from you. |
