Tink had a false pregnancy (I NOW know to spay ASAP... I was 16 when I got her) when she was younger . The first thing I noticed was she was acting strangely with her toys. She had a Care Bear she carried around everywhere, then would proceed to lay it down, then try to "nurse" it. No joke. She acted like the bear was her baby and was protective of it. She then began to wrangle ALL her toys into her bed to "nurse" This was a little after her being heat. Maybe a week later, I noticed she was producing milk, which led us to the vet where they said she was experiencing a false pregnancy (which I had never even known or heard of). She had a mild case of mastitis, so keep a lookout for that - darker liquid in the nipples which she received anti-biotics for. I'm not sure how long they waited to spay, but I do remembering them waiting a little bit... I'm sure your vet will have a good idea of when it is ok to spay. Hope this helps.
