I just wish that every owner of a cute little dog would spend just 10 min in an animal shelter & look into the eyes of all of those dogs that NEED homes whom most of witch will die needlessly & senselessly because so many people feel they want/need to breed their dog ( just once) to create more dogs for whatever reason, non of witch is good enough when LIVES are being snuffed out because of over population. I just can't wrap my brain around that, because to me when people purchase a mixed breed they are saying they just could care less that a shelter dog will die. Really IMHO all dogs are the same on the inside, they ALL just want to be LOVED & to LOVE YOU. Don't get me wrong here because I have loved very much each Yorkie I have owned but honestly some of the best dogs I have had the privilege of sharing my life with have come out of High Kill shelters. I honestly think that people that PURCHASE mixed breed dogs from BYB's, Greaders & OOOPs litters are out of their minds. Why ? when you can go to your local shelters or PetFinder & find the same mixed breeds rite there & best of all SAVE A LIFE ! I'm really not trying to offend anyone, but I think as human beings we need to regroup & get our priorities readjusted. If more people would adopt instead of shop for these mixed breeds, then people would think twice before breeding their cute little mixes. I know there will be people saying nonsesne about creating new breeds but come on now, do we really need any more breeds of dogs ? | |
