Wylie's Mom: we've had her now about 3 weeks (she is in her 12 week of age); the owners ussually let the pups go at about 8 weeks. No signs or episodes at the breeders. Vet Dr says this is something that happend over time, but ussually later, after one year.

margaritaville: we did check, it was a greyish colour. our assumption was that her glucose fell, but with all the visists to the Vet, and they kept her over two weekends for observation (glucos curve check?), no problems with her blood sugar levels. Liver is also good. So we started to give her a finger full of honey before bed (read somehwere this works) and made sure last night she ate before bed, and put some snacks down beside her basket for incase she awakes.
thanks to all for the kind words. yes, i am so deerly fond of her (suppose to be my wife's present but she highjacked my heart).
Update: they started the meds yesterday, and so far so good. When she was up at 02h00 she was with me in bed, warmly snuggled. Day 2 and counting. After my post yesterday i searched around more on this site and found similar stories and the lifespan of 6+ years #thinking_positive
