Of our Yorkies, our female is currently the most affectionate. She loves to cuddle and snuggle and give kisses.

My older male puts up with my loving all over him and lets me cuddle him, but he doesn't come looking for cuddles the way Raksha does.

My male puppy isn't as affectionate as his sister. He puts up with my kisses and sometimes gives them.

It really all depends on the dog for sure. I do think that male dogs bond well with a female owner, but so far Raksha is bonding well with my daughter so I think it just depends on the puppy and their personality.
