If I were adding a second yorkie I would go with one of the opposite sex, but my rule is only 1 girl dog in my house at a time. I currently have 1 girl and 3 boys (2 Yorkies and a setter). Some girls get along great with other girls, but I find that they are more likely to fight when they are older as opposed to males. Just my opinion though.
