I wondered if childrens benadryl or anything else may help her before the vaccines in case of any reactions?

I worry because I waited this long for my tiny Chihuahuas vaccine and she was 2 lbs and it caused her pain in the hip that made her favor it and put her into luxating patella in both back knees. I know there can be lots of different reactions though :/
Bruiser was just shy of three pounds when I took him for his rabies vac. My vet said a drop of liquid Benadryl on his tongue to lessen the anxiety and a drop of liquid adult Tylenol or Motrin to ease the pain about 45 minutes before the visit. He was fine, not even sleepy.
